RavRav and the “Weirdness Problem” Revisited

On a lighter note, I submit for your collective (hopefully not unkind) consideration the latest piece of plunder from my regular stalker’s raids on RavRav’s Tumblr account.

She probably thinks the hair extensions make her look like Salma Hayek. But when I see this I actually immediately think of Darlene from “Roseanne” (I mean around the period of seasons 7 to 9 (1994 – 1997) when she was supposed to be 18 or 19, and got into a steady relationship with the sweet submissive David, whom she treated like dirt and eventually married).

Which is fine by me. In my book Darlene was as weirdly but intensely hot as was, say, the young Christina Ricci. But it probably isn’t very welcome news to RavRav herself. The entertainment industry clearly can’t do anything profitable at all with Sara Gilbert’s looks or personality and she hasn’t had a significant role on film or on TV since “Roseanne” ended – which is surely down not just to her being a dyke but also to her being so damn SPECIAL.
